Magnetic Rocks
Magnetic Rocks! Quick help:
- Click/Drag rocks or pins to move them.
- Re-create the Molecule in the top left.
- Click the Scanning Button to compare the graph you made against the target..
- Only rocks under the glass will be checked.
- Use the Pin to hold a rock in place.
- You can play any level, no restrictions yet. Feel free to progress when you feel like it.
- There are Freeplay levels at the end.
Created for GMTK Game Jam 2021 (and not 2020 like it says in the splashscreen, oops)! Most graphics were handdrawn for this jam. Audio from freesound.org.
In this game, you will have to re-create a given molecule made out of different rocks. These rocks will link to each other if they get close, and you can pull them apart to disconnect them again. All rocks have a maximum number of connections they can make. Click the Scanning button to check your graph against the target.

Wow this is sick. I really felt like I was manipulating something microscopic with a pair of tweezers. I know that's literally what that game's about, it's hard to describe the feeling. Could be paired with another 'section' of game where you're collecting the rocks and using the 'structures' you create to further explore the world, idk. It's really cool but!!

Really cool and interesting game, but i noticed a bug in the level where you need to have two rocks, one brown thing, two rocks, one brown thing, two rocks, one brown thing. I made the molecule but it keeps saying i haven´t.
Should be fixed!
